Just got these in today, its the new rack from Tampa Bay Downs "The Silks" IMO one of the nicest new Florida releases!!!....

As a fellow Floridian I have a special appreciation for these chips. Man those Tampa Bay Downs chips are really nice. If you dont mind me asking, How many and how hard were they to get? Nice find.

I got them from a friend, Bill Wells. He just got me this set. Im shure they will start to pop up on ebay soon. Tampa is too far for me to go to or i would of got some to trade.

Yes, they are tournament chips. One from Sarasota Kennel Club "One Eyed Jacks" and from Tampa Dog Track "Lucky's Card Room". I know they go up to the 500 and probably 1000.

Nice chips. I hate to sound like a doofus (which I so often do) but when did they open casinos/card rooms at the Florida tracks. I used to go to the Sarasota Kennel Club once a year--last visit was three years ago--and never saw a place to play some poker!

Pari-mutels have had card rooms since 1997. Sarasota opened their card room in 2006. There should be a few more opening up at differnt tracks within a year. Here is a link i have of all the gambling places in Florida.....

I love the edgespots on the $1. Looks like they have an edgespot degression. Actually makes sense, dirty stacks may be more easily identified.
