NEW RELEASE from Florida!!! :)

The $2 poker limit in Florida is NO MORE! Florida card rooms now have up to a $5 limit game and $1/$2 NL. This started today. Most if not all the rooms will most likley have new chips to include $25s and possably $100s. I went to "The Poker Room" in St Augustine where i live and got a $25 for myself and a $25 and $100 for a freind i have who collects up to the $100 from all Florida gaming places. Heres the new $25 i got! Now that Florida has higher denoms i should stay broke for a while as i collect up to the $25 live chips from Florida!

Sweet news, now maybe I will be able to stomach the game on Race Track Road! I played there a few months back before going on deployment and vowed I would never, ever return as the $1/$2 limit game was the most frustrating poker experience of my life. Now maybe I will have to reconsider.

Thanks for the podt deputy. I live in Pensacola, FL and am always happy to get any news about laws here. Wylecoyo is that the dog track room here in Pensacola you were talking about? I am asuming so since you mentioned deployment but FL seeme to have a lot of dog track roads. LOL. If so how is it usually? I ve been meaning to get out there. How often do you play there? Thanks.

That is correct, I went to OCS in Pensacola back in 2000, but now live in Saint Augustine, Florida.

Thanks guys for clearing that up. Just curious incase. I was hopimg i found a fellow chiptalker in my area but I am glad it worked out for the two of you. Like I said Florida has a bunch of race track road or dog track roads everywhere.
