Chips: 10,249 | | | Railroad Pass, Henderson, NV - $5 75th Anniversary The Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino has the distinction of being the longest, continuously open, licensed casino in Nevada. The Railroad Pass Casino was granted Gaming License #4 in 1931 (when Nevada Gaming was fully legalized) and numbers 1, 2 and 3 have all folded.
According to Rob Lange (a CC>CC member on TheChipBoard.com) the Railroad Pass Casino has just released a $5 chip commemorating that 75th Anniversary milestone.
To look at the scan, I cannot see an indication that the chip is a Limited Edition (a quantity is not present) however, such wording may be on the outer edge of this chip, as it appears to be a Chipco ceramic.

Rob advises that he is selling these for $7.50 each. Here is the link to that message, if anyone is interested: http://www.thechipboard.com/cgi-bin/...pl?read=598699
When I verify Limited Edition status, I will post that here.

Chips: 48 | | | Re: Railroad Pass, Henderson, NV - $5 75th Anniversary Jim,
It's a commemorative chip, not an LE, since there is no amount made shown on the chip. That said, I was told at the cage yesterday that 1,000 were made.

Thanks for the insight! That being said, do you have these available through your New Issue Service?
(Yes, you can answer that.)

I know Andy has one as well. |

Chips: 10,249 | | | Re: Railroad Pass, Henderson, NV - $5 75th Anniversary Ross, great chip! Sure wish I had one in my collection!!!
BTW-You, just as I (up until yesterday) seem to be behind the times....
It seems that "we" (the collecting community) are emphasising a difference between "commemorative" and Limited Edition (LE/LTD). The later is number notated, while the former has no quantity and can therefore be re-ordered.
The newer Railroad Pass chip is a commemorative and not a Limited Edition, despite the quantity of 1,000 chips made (so far).
That Horeseshoe mold $5 is fabulous!!!
