Chips: 10,807 | | | Palms, Las Vegas, NV - Year of the Pig,. chipset... Gene Trimble has announced that the Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, NV will be releasing a commemorative chipset to commemorate the Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig) for 4704. Made by Paul-Son, in the Palms house mold, there are three denominations; an $8, a $25 and a $100.
They will be available from the cage (and on the tables) at 10:00 am, January 25th.

I would also like to point out that the artwork for these chips was done by CC>CC member Debbie Meister, who until after getting into chip collecting and designing many CC>CC member personal chips, was asked to design chips and Silver Strikes for the Palms. Congratulations Debbie!
I believe that these chips will be available from the usual NIS people in Vegas.

I'm surprised he hasn't followed this thread, but Deuces Empty recently did a chip run to Palms (and a couple other casinos) for me, getting a few very nice chips, at a very reasonable cost. I think he'd be a good source for this, if he's interested. |

are these to be put in circulation? | blu... These chips will be available from the casino cage at face value. Please note that the $8 cips will be sold out at some point and will not be found on the gaming tables. The $25's and $100 will last longer in the cage and may show up on the tables.
As with other new issue chips, the re-sellers will be buying them at face and selling them on eBay and the secondary market for about...
$12 - $20 for the $8
$27.50 - $35 for the $25
$110 for the $100
And $150 - $180 for the set of all three.
PLEASE NOTE, these are my estimates. It is quite possible that I can be wrong.
