South Point, Las Vegas, NV - All new issue

As announced previously, the South Coast casino (Las Vegas, NV) was sold to Michael Gaughan and has been re-named South Point. Nevada Gaming has recently approved the gaming license for Mr. Gaughan and an entire new rack of Paul-Son house mold chips are now in-use at the casino.

Courtesy of Andy Hughes, here are scans of the four lower denomination chips:

As a Las Vegas NIS, Andy (also a CC&GTCC and ChipTalk member) has these chips available at: http://www.nevadacasinochips.com/

I especially like the denomination appearing as part of the mold! I was hoping that with the departure from Coast casinos, they would have gone with a different color for the $1. Oh well.

To compliment the above message, Andy Hughes is also providing a scan of the complete set of roulette chips from Table 3. These are not available from Andy, as they are in his collection.

Love the mold.... hate the chips.

I wonder what they are gonna do with the $25K chips!?!.... I don't think "Twenty Five Thousand" will fit on a mold.

Good work Jim. Thanks for the post.

Re: South Point, Las Vegas, NV - All new issue

Might be regretting selling/trading all my fugly South Coast $1 chips. Had a chance to buy 2 fresh racks of them, but only picked up $40 worth...did not think there would ever be value in them. (probably right )

For those that have not stayed there, a livestock corral (um.. Equestrian Center) is located out back and adjacent to the pool. Sun tan lotion and manure is quite a combination.

Jim, thanks for the pics...
