As announced on the CC>CC Message Board, the previously un-approved Riviera, CC>CC 2006 Convention commemorative $5 LE, appears to have been approved by Gaming, as it is listed on the current release of approved chips.
Announced by CC>CC Convention Chairman, Jim Steffner, the release date is unknown and to complicate matters more, the lion's share of the release will be given over to CC>CC for distribution to members via the CC>CC Promotions Director. These details are being developed and will be announced when agreed upon by the CC>CC Officer (BoD). It was not known if the approval would ever materialize.
The CC>CC is gratefull to the Riviera for pursuing the approval process and I'm certain that many are gratefull and appreciative of the Gaming Control Board for approving this LE, which as you can see, includes the Club's initials.
