Just wondering if anyone had any history on these, like when they were made, where they were sold, how many available etc...
Thanks.

They cost about $.79 each, regardless of denomination and quantity. Made by the thousands and more likely by the tens of thousands. In Vegas they were in bins that were attached to the walls. You took what you wanted by the hand full.

I had never seen them before, not like the other fantasy Paulson's so I wondered if there was something else going on with them. |

For the flags... The egdespots are nice, but the inlays are horrible. I can't imagine too many people own large sets of these. I wouldn't mind a sample set though. |

Only the Gamblers General Store still has bins filled with chips that you scoop out with your hands when making a purchase. I sure makes you ask yourself... Geez, I'm going to pay about a buck a piece for what they just toss into a bin and when it gets low, they just fill it up into a heap!
But hey, they're chips and yep, we'll do it!

What you see on the website is all available at the store. Custom and casino made chips from there were made as RT Plastics (RTP). In recent years they have been bought out by the United States Playing Card Company, which has a long, long history of chips (up until about 1950) and of course playing cards, Bee, Bicycle and others.
