A while ago there was also some pics of a casino in chile or somewhere in south america that had dice chips and they were not even hotstamped. I could not find the pic on ths site.
I don't think that is a regular dice chip (the .05/chip ones)
It looks like the same type of chip as the three spot inserts that are much nicers (and like .45/chip)
edit: I could certainly be wrong though
The chip in the original post certainly looks like a dice chip. The chip you pictured, I belive, is a Langworthy chip (much nicer in comparison to dice). I have a few sitting on my desk, but I'm not sure where they are from. That's what I think anyways.

My Chips:
820 BCC Hotstamped (Semi-Custom, and first real clay chip set designed for 32 Player Tournaments)
800 Chipco Crystal Oyster's (Cash Game)
5400 Faux Clay's (Any Game)
1000 Dunes Replicas (High Stakes Tournament)
It is not a dice chip. It is a 1006 from thepokerchipcompany.com which is injection molded and costs about $.50 each. How do I know? Because my 1st custom set is that same chip also hotstamped with a way cooler custom logo.
Also on "true" crappy dice slugged chips the dice spots are white. Those pictured are not. The feel and the sound of the chips are great, but they look like dice chips which sucks. I bought them so long ago before I knew that dice chips were frowned upon. I shoulda got the 3 spot chips, oh well live and learn.

I have chips from 2 casinos I played in in Prague, and some from Barcelona where they do the EPT. I also just got some from the casino in Seoul.
If anyone is intereasted, Ill post some pictures of them. THEY are VERY dull, but if anyone really wants, Ill trade them for PNYs, Vineyards, or RITZs. Also looking for a couple Crystal Parks.
