The mystery of the Scandia chip.

I really love these Scandia Casino poker chips and I have a lot of question about them. Especially since they exist in so many forms. There are as far as I can tell three different versions. One with the web-mold and shaped inlays and two with the H&C mold. One of these versions also have the shaped inlays.

I belive that they are all fantasy chip but do not know for sure.

Which of the H&C $1 chips (if any) goes with the shaped inlay version?

Are there any more denoms?

Are there any more versions?

Why did Paulson made so many versions of this chip?

I will be glad if someone have any information on this subject. I know that some of the questions probably are imposible but it does not hurt asking.

Thank you in advance!

(I am of course interested in a trade or purchase if you have a Scandia chip that I do not have).

Re: The mystery of the Scandia chip.

Hey 7th,
Here is a link to the ccgtcc which says they are fantasy chips.

http://www.ccgtcc.com/fantasy/images/scandia.jpg

I thought there was a post on these chips somewhere, but I can't remember where. I'll do some searching.

I haven't seen these up for sale for a long time, though. I like the shaped inlay versions, of course!

I found one of posts A'so check out the link to the old auction, there is some info there, but not confirmed.

Re: The mystery of the Scandia chip.

7th, 2 versions you don't have are:

$25 TH&C in shaped inlay.
$100 TH&C in round inlay.

I have never seen a $500 in web design.

I have about 800 of the TH&C design with varies inlays and denominations.

Re: The mystery of the Scandia chip.

7th, I used them as my primary game chips so I don't think I will sell them one or 2 at a time.

I will let you know if I change my mind.
