The denominations were:
$.50
$1
$2
$5
$25
They are all shown in this photo that was sent to me by Mr Mike Spinetti in 2003 when he had them for sale:
I have never heard of any higher value chip nor seen any for sale on eBay and I check there regularly. I understand that Olivia's was a fairly small card room so it is possible that they didn't need anything larger for the cash games. From what I've seen, there weren't a lot of the $25 chips so they were probably the "high society" for the operation.
There was also apparently a NCV set that would have been for tournaments - as shown in the photo below - but I have never been able to get any and don't recall where I even got the photo. I have a feeling it was from an eBay auction I lost but I've never seen any since... You'll see that the $25 has "TOURNAMENT CHIP" on it: EDIT - May 18, 2007. I have learned that there was also a NCV 1 chip in addition to the ones shown below. The breakdown of the number of chips manufactured was: Value chips are 50¢ - 1,000 made. $1 - 9,000 $2 - 3,000 $5 - 4,000 $25 - 1,000 NCV's 1 - 400 made 5 - 500 25 - 500 100 - 300 500 - 200 1000 - 100 Thanks to Mr Gene Trimble, former Poker Room Manager for the Palms Casino and Resort, Las Vegas, (and widely known chip collecting expert) for this information. He has a copy of the original Paulson bill for the chips. 2ND EDIT - May 12, 2007. Mr Trimble has also very kindly provided a scan showing all six of the NCV chips:
I posted here a few months ago in the WTB thread looking for the NCVs but got no responses.
I use some $.50 chips and $1 ones in my cash game set. Here is an older photo showing some of them:
I hope this helps,
Neil Ferguson

Chips: 227 | | | Re: Help me identify all the Olivia chips The $25 chips come up on eBay every now and then. The highest I recall seeing one sell for was $28. When Spinetti's sold them they offered sets of 100 with the following breakdown:
50 $1.00s
15 $2.00s
25 $5.00s
05 $25.00s
05 $0.50
They said at the time that if people didn't want the 50 cent chips or the $25s they would take them out and replace them with others.
The others are more common on eBay than the $25 and a set of all four went for $17.50 a couple of weeks ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Good luck!

Neil | Do you, by chance, remember what was Spinetti's price for a set of 100 Olivia's when they used to sell them? |

Chips: 1 | | | Re: Help me identify all the Olivia chips To answer an earlier question, when Spinnetti was selling them, they went for about $.65 per chip in 100 lots. I bought about 6000 from him and sold them on ebay. Most sales on ebay are from folks I sold sets of 500 to for $500-$700. The last set that went for $1100+ I sold for about $550. Most of what I received from Spinnetti was mint, there were probably 400 $1s in circulated condition, so those were the first to go. Most sets I sold had 25 $.50 and 25 $25s. So, good luck if you can get them cheap, I wish I had kept more for future sales, but I still made a good amount turning them at the time, so I have no complaints. FYI, I recently joined since I heard CurseofThorn was selling Mardi Gras Casino chips for $.30, so I added to my set.
Let me know if you have any other questions on the Olivia's, I never knew they had a tournament set, Spinnetti did not offer them.
