Dunes chips

Just wondering what the old dunes $1000 chip is worth at the moment?
Would one of each denom be worth anything as a set?
Are the Baccarat chips more valueable than the standard chips?

Re: Dunes chips

'ash,

Assuming you are referring to the Dunes Gold Course issue, here is what I believe:

$1,000 - Collector retail price = $75

A complete set of each denomination would likely be valued higher than the sum of the individual values.

It appears that the bacarrat chips are either equal in value, or are less.

I hope this helps.

Re: Dunes chips

Last time I bought any, Spinetti's was selling $1K chips for about $24 each when purchased in quantity or with other Dune's chips.

I purchased uncirc chips from them to fill out a 500 chip set. The prices were $3-$4-$8-$18-$24 for the $5-$25-$100-$500-$1000 chips respectively, about 6-8 months ago. Also, the $500 and $1K chips were not uncirc, just in very good condition.

The baccarat chips are LESS expensive than the regular chips.

Here they are. On the down side, we hardly ever play with them.

That is pretty sick. Thanks for posting.

By the way, where did you get those cases on either side of the Dunes?

Thanks,
Couga
