Chips: 1,775 | | | Got these cheap from ebay...
The silver slipper was sold as a "real" casino chip, but given that there are dates on it makes it a Borland commemorative, right?
Edit: The "soccer" chip is about a millimeter smaller than a 50K winner club, and I have no idea whatsoever as to who the maker is.
I'm probably most interested in the American cruises chip, where is it from? When? What is its estimated worth? I'll tell you why after I get an estimate.
Also cool to get a -91 CC&CTC chip.
What do you think these are worth? What are the chip manufacturers? I recognize Paulson, ASM and Chipco, but I'm a bit iffy on Bud Jones and other more plasticy chips.
Thanks,
Radix

I can view the second photo/scan, but not the first, so I will address (mostly) the second pic.
Left to right, top to bottom:
Seaport Casino Aruba, current issue (I believe) Bud Jones, value $3.
A-mold (ASM/Burt) chip made for the CC>CC for their 4th Annual Meeting (it was not a Convention) that took place at the ANA Convention for 1991. (The CC>CC is a member of the ANA.) I need that chip!
American Cruises, Inc. is thought to be a fantasy chip (made by Paul-Son). Some people recall the chips being avaulable at the Paul-Son retail stores. There is no documentary evidence of the existence of a company by that name. But it is very curious that I have a $1 slot machine token with the same logo and name! Value... under $5.
Excelsior Casino, Aruba. Chipco, and I am not certain of value.
Wildhorse Resort - An Indian casino in Pendleton, OR. Current rack chip, made by Bud Jones. Value $1 - $3.
Tulalip Casino, Tulalip, WA. An Indian casino. Made by Bud Jones, and a current issue. Valued at $1 - $3. The $5 version is in your other scan (bottom row, center chip). Value $6 - $7.
The Silver Slipper is a Borland, however, we need to apply the "Never say never" rule. Seems the Stardust, knowing that they would be closing this year for major remodeling (or?) has a new issue chip that includes the opening and closing dates! Go figure!!!

Jim (Gaming Ore) Follis | Weird... the first pic works fine for me,
Do you want the CC>CC? LMK.
I bought 19 American Cruises (mintish) for $9.95. My first real bargain!
Thanks for your help, Jim. |
