Chips: 4,044 | | | Proteges Unveiled 2.5.2007
(I'm not a photographer of any skill, so here's an amatuer's scan of a Protege chip - this doesn't really capture how good this $25 chip looks in person - the inlay text and graphics are crystal clear on the chips, but they look a bit fuzzy on this scan, but I don't know enough about scanning to tell you why)
... bone thrown
Since you've all waited so patiently on these, I want you all to experience the same joy as I did when first ripping thru the first shipment. And thus this is the only image I'll post, but those of you who ordered are free to take and post images as you receive your chips . If you've got any sort of photographic skills, I'm sure you can do these chips more justice than I can.
2nd batch arrives Wednesday, but no $100, $500, $1000 or NCV chips are in these first 2 batches. More denominations should ship this week.

-Stephan | Thanks, Stephan, a much needed bone throw indeed! Can't wait for more (better) photos of more denoms. Very excited! |

Is it just me or does this sample chip have an inlay that is pretty much off-center? It's practically touching the lower portion of the inner circle and a good bit off as you move up. I hope it's just the scan and/or an unrepresentative sample. |

Edit: Ya know I have a pretty good camera and although I'm not an expert I think I could take some decent shots -- just tell me when to drive up and I'll take those for ya. I could help document the whole process for the CT crowd. Really. |

Chips: 151 | | | Re: Proteges Unveiled 2.5.2007 Actually I would argue that the inlay is dead center. It's the mold that's not (check outer circle). Either way still looks amazing. If you don't like yours you can send em to me! Quote: |

Chips: 1,052 | | | Re: Proteges Unveiled 2.5.2007 Great call, 800over. You've nailed it. My eyes were focused on the inlay and I didn't even consider the outer circle. I'm kind of surprised that such a chip made it past Quality Control. No? Quote: |
