Pertinant pre-buy details:

• This is more of a pre-buy offer as a show of appreciation, rather than a group buy, meaning there is no minimum sum order threshold needed for the chips to be made. They will be made regardless of whether there are 300 chips pre-ordered, or 30,000, or 0.
• Funds for all pre-buy orders will be collected at time of order
• It is anticipated that pre-buy orders will ship in October.
• There is a 30-day pre-order window (August 8th - September 7th)
• Being a pre-buy where the orders occur now and the chips ship in a few months, samples are not available.
• There is a minimum order of 300 and a maximum of 1000 chips per Protege contest participant. Any orders outside these parameters will be automatically cancelled.
• This pre-buy offer is available only to "Participants" of the Protege Inlay Design Contest on ChipTalk.net.
• As is standard Sidepot Gaming Company policy, anyone not absolutely elated with their chips has 15 days from receipt of delivery to return them for a full refund.
• Acceptable methods of payment are Visa, MC, AMEX, and Discover.

Will it EVER stop? I mean, just when I have way more chips than a person NEEDS, I see yet another design that I must have -- honestly I get the whole female shoe thing now -- doesn't matter how many pairs you have, there is always another pair and it MAKES YOU SO HAPPY TO BUY THEM!

If your intent is to review a sample set in order to buy a full set, you won't be able to get the discount on the full set.
If you're talking about getting sample set for the sake of a sample set, then that will work.

If it's possible, I'd like to see at least some pics of a real sample set.
