Re: Final Four Protege Contestant: Fins

Love the design. I would love to see a side-by-side comp of shaped vs unshaped inlays. Good Luck fins!

Re: Final Four Protege Contestant: Fins

Contestants - If you plan to submit an alternate chip line (any changes in chip color, or chip inlay at all) to the one that got you to the final four, you will need to have a face-off among your two designs. These face-offs will begin the morning (9-11 am PST hours) of Wednesday, August 2nd. All contestants please have your submissions and alternates into me before that timeframe. And if you don't plan to put forth an alternate, please confirm that as well.

I hope it's the latter. Although, in either case, without some revision I don't see how he can advance.

Unfortunately poor timing as I had a busy weekend and haven't had the chance to work on this...

Not sure the design has a chance to move forward but I'd hope to "tweak" it a little more as I agree with you FL70.

I hope to get some time tonight.

Re: Final Four Protege Contestant: Fins

Some things I would like to see...

Comparison of shaped vs. non-shaped inlays

Comparison of the "wooden barrel" background vs a parchment background with a "burnt edge" or "frayed label" feel to it

2 Sided option with alternate graphic and numerical denominations

Modification of the $1000 chip edge spots to fit more cleanly within the set (maybe make the red spots BLACK?)

Test some alternate text to "Private Reserve" - No, I don't have anything better! (in vino veritas?)

Just hoping to jumpstart ideas.... c'mon Fins, let's win this one for the gipper.

Fins - You've got until Wednesday morning. I tried to give a little more time than just the weekend (and I was crossing my fingers that none of the Final Four were in the WSOP main event, because that would have just been very bad timing).
