Chips: 4,044 | | | [RE-VOTE] Protege Sweet Six (Fins vs JumpingJack) As many of you already know, these two just faced off yesterday and ended in a tie. So we're re-voting. Each contestant was PM'd and directed to argue their case within this thread as to why their inlay submission should win your vote into the final four. You can wait to hear their argument before you vote, if you desire, or vote your mind right away. Let's get on with it!

Chips: 1,310 | | | Re: [RE-VOTE] Protege Sweet Six (Fins vs JumpingJack) Now I'm not working and at home, so I can see these pictures. Maybe it's being close to Napa, maybe it's having an appreciation for wine the last 5 years, but I like Fins'. |

Chips: 596 | | | Re: [RE-VOTE] Protege Sweet Six (Fins vs JumpingJack) Can the two be combined into one design?
For example I love the "seal" on fins chips but dislike the background and name.
I like how jumpings jacks have the "wings" but seems bland.
Just a thought... |

JJ's design has grown on me from my initial impressions. That aside I like that my take on JT's seal idea is unique and most of all compliments the mold.
I didn't think we should both be allowed as it eliminates Sidepot's option which is the whole reason for a 4th!
Thanks again for everyone's comments!
Best of luck JumpingJack!

Chips: 72 | | | Re: [RE-VOTE] Protege Sweet Six (Fins vs JumpingJack) Hello everyone, I just got home from work and it looks like I missed an exciting day on chiptalk. Reasons to vote for my chip:
I think my chip meets sidepots criteria better, It doesn't have as much of a theme as Fins does.
I like the subtle cigar label look my chip has, it goes well with the mold
I would be willing to add a name to my chip if that is what people want, something to do with the earth or world.
I was also considering trying some options for the other side of the chip, if it goes to the next round, this could make it more interesting.
I think fins chip is to similar to the vineyards, don't we want something unique and new.
Thanks for the votes
Good luck Fins |
