I like the design and agree it may be a little plain. Wondered if the circles surrounding could change with the chip to compliment the shape of the inlay. The denoms are a little small. Might be nice to have something more intricate on the obverse & have two designs.

I like the simple geometric look, and might infuse another shape or two into the design.

I also think there's potential for varying the design to fit the inlay shape (and probaby increasing the demonimation size), but there's a lot of potential in this design. Simplicity and elegance go hand in hand.

Maybe there's a way that the design could get more complex as the denoms escalate... Just a thought, very nice design!

Thanks for the comments so far. Below is an update of the art, let me know what you think. I made the font bigger, added the globe grid and added the stars.

this definitely has potential. the 2nd mock-ups are an improvement, in my opinion. I would try to apply two colors per inlay, on top of the white background.

Some of the old Tropicana inlays had a mere two colors, blue and red, but they managed to compliment the base and insert colors well.
