Chips: 3,953 | | | Base Color Discussions for Non-Core Chips We're pretty much finished with the heart of the set ($1 thru $100). And I personally think you've put together a pretty solid core chip set. It's way different than what I had in mind, and none of the chips were my front-runners in the competition, but I'll admit the sum result looks pretty nice so far.
From here on out, our choice of base colors is largely up in the air. Before we go down that path one chip at a time, I think everyone should sound off on their base color vision for the remaining chips ($500, $1000, $5000, as well as the 25c) and how they fit into the core of the set. What color we use for one chip affects all the others.
I'll leave this discussion wide open. Post pictures from the factory, write out your argument, whatever. This is your chance to influence the remainder of the set before we begin knocking them off one by one. |

500 - Purple
1000 - Abobe
5000 - White
NCV - Light Blue
Switch the colors as you see fit, minus the purple 500 |

$5000 Almond | WORKS FOR ME. I'M USING LAVENDER FOR THE $500 NO MATTER WHAT THE $100 RESULTS ARE. |

Chips: 6,883 | | | Re: Base Color Discussions for Non-Core Chips Lavender is a great contrast with the black $100.
Purple works as well, I just think the lighter shade might contrast a little nicer.
great.
now i gotta go alter my entries.

Chips: 5,286 | | | Re: Base Color Discussions for Non-Core Chips i really don't see a need to define base colors for the next round of chips. I think the market will determine the best way to go, if the $500 is purple, great, if its grey, great, let the vote RULE.. One thing you can be assured of, we won't let something the just plain s**ks happen.
I applaud the CT community for (finally) getting this together (with ALOT of props to sidepot for keeping the pace brisk and fair) |

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that "Arc Yellow" is pretty close to Orange. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
