No problem. I was just shocked that ~1 hour went by and nobody had posted anything, not you specifically.

latest update: 4 knocks off 15, and now faces #1. Both of these have won by big margins, so it should be a good race.

Finals time on the $25 chip. Get your $100 chips ready with the Chip Factory:

http://www.sidepot.com/poker_chip_factory/tool.html

Since there are so many potential combinations for the $100 chip, we'll allow 2 submissions per CT member. Here is the edge spot configuration:

just wondering sidepot, is it ok to have the outer two spots match or would you like them to be all different colors like the example?

Re: 5/25 5:40pm PST Status Update (includes links to all open polls)

Also, I'm wondering if edge spot order matters. For example, can someone submit black/grey/white and someone else submit grey/black/white? Or is a color combination taken regardless of order?

I apologize if that seems nit-picky.

This is a good question, and one I think we need to clarify upfront. My original thought was that since our non-denominational chip has a same-color edge spot on the outside with a different inside spot as follows:

and our $5000 chip has a base color edge spot with two same color outer edge spots as follows:

we'd want to keep this one with three uniquely colored spots (thus no repeating spot colors and no spots that are the base color). In theory, that's great, but with our full color spectrum it is very easy to "work around" this by using two slightly different shades of one color for the outside spots (i.e. laker purple and blurple, Blood red and royal red, lime green and sherbet, and on and on). So, instead of fighting against the current, I propose we just allow repeating edge spot colors to be submitted (if that's what people want). The chip will still be quite different from the NCV chip. But I don't think we should allow any edge spot colors to be the same as the base color of the chip.

I'd like to hear any thoughts on this.

I think all three colors should be differnet, the NCV value chip already has outside spots the same. Lets make every chip different

Good question, and no worries. It's better to clarify everything we can up front. I'd say we consider colors in different order different submissions, with the exception that mirror images are really the same thing (i.e. black/grey/white is the same submission as white/grey/black).

So, for any three colors, there are only three possible unique combinations as follows:

black/grey/white (1/2/3)
black/white/grey (1/3/2)
grey/black/white (2/1/3)
