||DECIDED|| 5/23: Dark Green w/ Arc Yellow -vs- Day Green w/ Verde

Two more early returns, so we'll face them off now.

One vote per CT member, and we "call a winner" under the following pre-determined lopsided conditions:

· 70% After 30: If one chip has a 70% majority after a minimum of 30 votes, we "call the winner" (min vote would be 21 to 9 votes)

· 60% After 40: If one chip has a 60% majority after a minimum of 40 votes, we "call the winner" (min vote would be 24 to 16 votes)

Let the voting begin!

Re: 5/23 (LATE EDITION): Dark Green w/ Arc Yellow -vs- Day Green w/ Verde

Wow, close race so far.

I went with the darker chip base, even though I'm not super keen on the arc-yellow spots.....

And these polls are just flying!

Re: 5/23 (LATE EDITION): Dark Green w/ Arc Yellow -vs- Day Green w/ Verde

C'mon folks, I think this is the only lighter green chip left, don't let it drop out so early! Do we really want all the dark greens to be the only choices? BORRRRRRIIINNNGGG!

Re: 5/23 (LATE EDITION): Dark Green w/ Arc Yellow -vs- Day Green w/ Verde

I would just make a quick point that with all voting rounds being 'heads-up' as it were, it would be helpful to put some kind of Round notation in the thread title - so we could keep track of who's left.

Thanks.

**EDIT** Nice, thanks SP.

Not a big fan of either, so voted for the one I disliked least. Not sure if that's skewing the polls or not.

Re: ||DECIDED|| 5/23: Dark Green w/ Arc Yellow -vs- Day Green w/ Verde

I'd like to (very) belatedly state that this match-up was crap. Just because these two chips were the next to win doesn't mean they should have been matched up immediately afterwords. OK, bitter rant done with. This thing is fun!

PS: I'm not really angry or anything. I just knew as soon as I saw the match-up that my chip was going down. Yet, at the same time, I thought if the first match-ups were being done on a 'simliarity' basis, I should have gone against the Dark Green chip with Verde stripes in the second round. No matter, as I was positive a Dark Green chip would win this thing anyway.

I hear ya! It's impossible to make all of the match-ups as fair as possible. Still, it's either lose now or lose later for every chip except the final winner. Don't fret too bad on your day green (or sherbert green) chip just yet - it could still make is as a 25c or $5000 chip. It's so far from dark green that it's really a completely different color.
