I don't think you need to. There's 12% more votes for 7, looks like it won.

I agree that there should be a runn-off vote. 3 votes in this format is not enough to declare a "Winner" imo. Much like a political primary, followed by a general election, these votes should be followed by a deciding vote between the top two sets. If there were a larger margin between the top two sets, then I would be less likely to argue. A majority vote should decide the set that carries forward, not a plurality vote.

It's always good to see you back tri-lam. I think you were the first memeber, joined while I was actually building the site!

(I'll probably bring this up every time you make an appearance, I tend to forget I say the same thing over and over, so the wife says)

Thank's Ten. I actually visit almost every day (usually lurking around.) I love this site. I usually don't post though unless I feel like I have something to say that adds to the site in some way. Well, not always.
On the eve of Chiptalk's 1 year anniversary (my birthday also tomorrow,) let me just say thank you again for creating such a great forum for all of us.

Oh, and I wish I was the first member. I am #3 behind you and theredwave.

Look at the Bellagio chip (also mentioned in the rules). The font and layout used says, "classy" but it's not like they have Rolex watches, diamond rings or Ferrari's on it. The style is in the way the name is displayed, the name IS the logo.
OTB - I understand your point, but I disagree with it to an extent - a theme is an abstract idea.

A Luxury Ocean Liner is a "thing" not a theme. Luxury Travel may be a better example of a theme. Perhaps I should have used the word Luxurious - but the theme should be a be wider in scope than something like Luxury Ocean Liner. Most equate Ocean Liners with luxury so the example is redundant. Like an uncomfortable proctological exam....

When I think of luxury I think about the Great Gatsby, F Scott and the boys, Key West, Monaco, and yes those ocean liner posters from the 20's and 30's. However, someone else may take a different view -

Anyway, I think taking a minimalist approach to setting guideleines will produce the most creativity. Luxury, Style, Wealth or whatever etc. will generate some wonderful submissions.
