It is one of MANY rough ideas I've been playing with for this contest.

Probably the one I liked the least, so I just put it on for fun.

Of course when I revisit it, I might spruce it up a bit and see what happens, but it was just one of many unfinished ideas, and I couldn't bear to put nothing on them, or someone elses design.

Do you mean GFI outlets? That would probably be the best thing to have a fish tank plugged in to.

I like that inlay too btw.

Probably the wrong thread for this but NO, not GFI. GFI protects people near water situations, Arc Fault protects property from electrical things I guess. All new bedrooms in MA now need arc fault breakers in the main panels.

but FIRST all the inlay submissions will use the same colored chips and edgepsots. it's the only way to keep an even playing field at that stage. There will be one final colors vote at the end, after the inaly has been chosen.

10%er,

Will there be any limitations to inlay design submissions?

I've got about 8 different ones I'm still in the rough stages with, and some have the potential to use the same "logo" but different "room" names.

I might end up with 20 different submissions by the time I mix and match them... Maybe more by the time we get to that stage.

Any ETA on when an inlay submissions thread will open?

I'd still like to see the individual denoms voted on when you get to the last three sets. Choosing whole sets is like buying an album with 2 songs you like - breaking it out by denom would be akin to NAPSTER.

Change "glass" to "aquarium" and you've got a hot seller! Honestly I'd certainly buy a set with that (or a similar) inlay. I think it's creative and funny.

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color/Edge Vote C

Am I correct in remembering that the inlays should be generic? As in not a named card room?

Gosh, I'm surprised at the positive responses to this rough inlay...

Thanks all!

FWIW, the "real" design was to have just the logo, name (fish tank) and denom small on the front, and the "Don't tap..." part on the back with a larger denom again.

I guess I'll have to finish that one up and re-submit it when the time comes. If I don't use it here for this contest, maybe there will be interest elsewhere.

Back to the drawing board...
