Chips: 37,259 | | | Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions One thing to keep in mind is that no matter how many denominations (8, 10, whatever) we end up with, 70% or more of the total chips that get made (bought) will be in the 4 standard denominations ($1, $5, $25, and $100). As such, the importance of the color on these 4 chips is paramount. Any progressions that we come up with should keep this in consideration.
Just something to think about to make the later stages of chip choices easier. I think we're all thinking this way already, I just want to make sure. |

Clayton | To me, 'edgespot progression' doesn't necessarily mean number of spots. It could be number, size, number of colors, or a combination of all.
I don't have a problem with the # of spots progression, except the 3x3 on the yellow looks out of place. Personally, I'd prefer a little more to the progression than just spot count.

Looking for a subdued, elegant look with a minimal progression. |

Chips: 117 | | | Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions Ok last one (wasted too much time on this today...but it's so addicting). Black is the only color used twice, but that shouldn't be a big deal as 100s and 5000s shouldn't be on the table at the same time anyway.
By the way, I also don't really care for my "true" spot progression either(see my previous post) as it isn't much fun for us cash gamers, but figured I might as well throw it out there anyway. Wow this is fun |
