Well thanks. I made these and went to post them in the other thread but Ten had locked it already. Oh well. They can be a write in.

Here's another version for people who hate blank chips.

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

Begin rant...

Attached you will find the latest scans from the SAMURAI group buy from last year. While I actually disliked the inlay so much that I did not take part in the purchase, CnC (and others involved) actually did something that I wish all of you submitting opinions and design possibilities in this new group buy would consider;

Take note of the colors used in this set. First of all, you can actually see that these chips are part of a set. The colors that are used as bases are later used as complimenting edge spots (the green edge spots on the $5 and $100 is the base green from the $25 - the blue spots from the $25 and $100 are from the base of $1 etc...). These are design basics that make a group of chips, a chip set. All of the other submissions from this thread seem to miss this point and rely on the inlay to match the chips to a set.

Admittedly, I am not a chip designer but I am a potential large quantity chip purchaser hoping to sway the design efforts of the very talented members of this community.

End rant...

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

I have two or three sets that need to go into a third preliminary Poll. They are ones that have been "proven" to have gotten two votes, and not too many revisions.

So if anyone wants to VOTE for any sets that have been posted but are not in the two polls right now, SHOW them to me. Two votes for sets will get them into the third poll.

Please cast your vote by QUOTING the original post, or by posting the image of the set along with WHO made it, and what post number it was grabbed from. In other words, make it easy for me to see which vote you are (1st, 2nd, 3rd?), and don't make me hunt down the set you are talking about!

Examples:

Good:
"I'll give a second vote for ChipMainiac's set posted on this thread, post #58 [then insert a copy of the set here]"

Bad:
"Hey ChpManaiic, I like yours I'll second it"

Deal, even though I'm not allowed to have mine in there since they're a "new" submission.

Hey Ten. I want to write my vote in for these, post #144. These weren't on the original poll. I wouldn't mind having a set of these.
