Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

Cool modification X! Here's my design with the new chipstack view. My progression increases in spot number, size, and spot complexity as the value increases.

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

Alright guys just looking for a little feedback before I post my final (I hope) color submission. Here's my set, minus the 25 and 500. Note that I probably won't change these.

And these are my ideas for the 25 and 500, respectively.

I'd really appreciate any thoughts/suggestions for the 25 and 500. Thanks!

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

I'd say the first 25 and the second 500.

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

Thanks for the input Poboy. Here's another idea with a different 100, since the "patriotic" 100s seem to be pretty hit or miss. Of course this means I had to change the 500 spots as well.

Or this one, using the first 25 from my previous post.

Any thoughts on the following?

I veered from the mainstream and avoided yellow/orange/chocolate for the high denom chips - call me crazy...

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

HebbNH, I don't see the need to change the purple one. You can use either of these and stay in your progression (in the second one)

VegasMike, aside from the fact that I personally am not a fan of the 1/2 spots on your grey, the only change I'd suggest is the last one - it looks like you used the blood red. Plum is pretty close to that, but a little more differentiated from the 5. Plus you can call it really dark pink for the more traditional guys.

I don't really care for the "cranberry" 5000, but the others are alright. My fav's are the .25, 1, and 100. 25 isn't bad either. Hope this helps (and that maybe everyone else will ask for suggestions in this thread as well).

What do you guys think about my "patriotic" 100. Keep it or ditch it?

Re: Protégé Stage 2 - Color Discussions

Made some changes to mine. Original first, should I get a chance to modify down the road, modification second:

I dig the grey/orange X-Files posted here, but he didn't use it in his submission, so yoink!. Also, per suggestions, a darker green and a purple more easily differentiated from the black (not sure I like the lighter purple with the rest of the chips).

Feedback appreciated.
