Some are going to want progression in the spots. Some are going to want low denom cash sets and some are going to want high denom tourney sets. Are all the 'cool' edge spots going to be in the high end?
Colors are also going to be a problem. Not the / controversy going on since the caveman days, but muted/classy colors v. bright/fun colors. And, it'll look weird if we pick a $1 chip with vibrant colors and a $5 chip with say, plum as the base color and chocolate and grey spots.
I don't envy Ten's adminstration of this contest.
Speaking of which, how's it going to go? I'm not going to post any more mockups because it just clutters the thread and it seems like the point is general discussion. No more chaos from me. For now.
[EDIT: I'm probably the only one in the world, but blue or white $1 doesn't matter to me. White NCV I think works fine. It can be used as a .25 or (or $1 if someone really hates the blue $1)]

This is a good question. Right now, I'm operating under the assumption that Ten will start to post polls whenever he deems that the time is right. Right now we're still in the general discussion phase. |

Greg | Excellent, thanks Ten. Oh, and you are talking about the ability to have them in our grubby hands pre-order-period, correct?
Thanks again,
EDIT: Are these going to be identical to say, the Mardi Gras(BC) chips in all physical respects? If so, many of us wouldn't need samples. Is there a possibility that they will be of superior quality re: the Samuri's as some have stated? Thanks.

I think muted, classy, deep colors are going to be the way to go to fit the theme. The feeling you get when you hear, "I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany." |
