Re: Protégé Stage 1 - Master Thread - General Discussion

Hey X-Files, anything I can do to help with the Chip Factory? Maybe I can do some of the tedious stuff (e.g. Edgespot configs, etc.) so you don't have to do it all.

I say we go with baby blue and make bot sides happy, I would normally like white but would take baby blue.

Just at the risk of expanding the topic here, but what about colours for the higher denom?

Frankly I'm getting bored with the vs debate. Blue is clearly the right answer, and everyone knows it.

So........everyone OK with a pink $1000?

I was surprised they didn't specify purple for the 500 in the rules, so yeah, it looks like the higher denoms are going to be wide open. I wouldn't mind seeing something a little different there. I have a feeling that purple and orange/yellow are going to be tough to overcome in the voting though.

I'd concede a purple shade for the 500 if we could open up the floodgates and go different for 1000 and 5000!

Actually, pink might not be bad for an NCV choice. The cash gamers could use it as a $2.50 or $10 or even a $0.50 I guess and it could be the 5k chip for tournies.

Re: Protégé Stage 1 - Master Thread - General Discussion

I like the following:

.25 = Apricot
1 = horizon blue\light blue
5 = radiant red
25 = lime green\day green
100 = black (chocolate or verde look like the only other possibilities)
500 = blurple
1000 = arc yellow
5000 = Adobe or Chocolate

Everyone can talk about it until they're blue in the face... then they'll see the light.

This will all be easier once the Chip Factory's up in running!

Question Re: Protégé Stage 1 - Master Thread - General Discussion

.

Sorry if I missed this, but are these going to be the exact mold, material, weight & feel as the InPlay Clays on sidepot.com? If so, I assume now is the time to order samples to see if we like the feel/weight/quality/etc? If not, where can we get samples?

Thanks,

-TripKings

Re: Protégé Stage 1 - Master Thread - General Discussion

I would want to see a Pink chip (see Pink ASM 1/4 chip making it at the last moment) and the Blue 1$ seems to be winning. Pink NCV could be used as 10 cent/2$/10$ in cash games. That is a really interesting idea. . .

Re: Protégé Stage 1 - Master Thread - General Discussion

I believe that Ten said earlier that these will be the standard Blue Chip material/process on the Cigar & Snifter mold, not the full-on InPlay chip.

I'll ask about the possibility of a reduced rate for samples for CT members.
