Really like the inlay... the horse is so proud looking! Very nice... however something about the chip just makes it look a bit to busy... maybe the outer ring... a little less may make it less busy! I dont know just talking out loud here.... but the business does bother me some!

Agreed. I think this inlay is beautiful, as is the outer ring, but they just don't work together.

Save the horse for a chip with a simpler outer ring...

Maegnus, for this outer ring, have you considered just a single "squiggly" (my name for the symbol at the top of each chip, as they're currently oriented) or a variation on it, in the middle, with the denom above or below?

Thanks Wooly!
it is a little busy for sure, but I'm thinking the simplicity of all the white and the few colours used will help keep it unified and together while maintaining the complexity. I tried to fill the space as much as possible because it is a ceramic chip, and I feel that I have to take advantage of the graphic capabilities on this kind of chip.

after all, being over the top fancy is supposed to be the theme, right?

Great suggestion! I'm not attached to the horse at all and feel it is not generic enough for the chip. I would like to find something simpler for that space, hopefully something I could apply the same marble effect to though, do you guys like that?

keep the thoughts comin!

Great chips...a little busy...but still original and classy. Maybe less going on in the outer ring and make the inlay a little stronger? Darker print on the text?

Re: Epiphany Contestant #7: Maegnus

I like the horse, I think the text needs to be darker. You might consider taking out the line and dots above the denoms, this might simplify it.

Re: Epiphany Contestant #7: Maegnus

I like the horse and the outer ring, I think removing a few of the inner details would be better.
