Re: Epiphany Contestant #5: Jblazer

My self - criticism... Things I'm currently working on...The outer edge circles are not quite round, and the $100 chip has one loop not quite centered. Also, the edge design needs to be tweaked a bit more. Anyway, another tweak release coming shortly...

The suited edgespots are a great idea. I'm interested to see if you can pull it off and can't wait to see your next update.

You might want to consider adding another color to each chip, may make them more interesting. Also dont forget the white edge these chips will have.

Re: Epiphany Contestant #5: Jblazer

What do you guys think of the center cow skull outline? I was originally thinking this would have some sort of wild west influence, and I could take it back in that direction, antiquing and all, but the latest iteration took a turn towards a higher class chip, which I think was what the theme of the contest was anyway... Take a look at this revision and see what you think. There may be more I can do with the inlay to provide some additional interest to the chip, but I like the clean simplicity as well...

JumpingJack - thanks for the tip, you'll see I've added some additional tonal range to the interior which offsets it a bit to create interest. I'll play with some different colors and see how it looks.

Re: Epiphany Contestant #5: Jblazer

Ok, here's something closer to what I was originally planning for the chip design. See what you think.

Re: Epiphany Contestant #5: Jblazer

I think that the 100, 500, 5000 are a little to close in color and also the 1000 and ncv are a little close in color also.
