Chips: 822 | | | My Casino chip collection web site is set up. I have finally got my Casino collection up on my web site. View it for your pleasure or view it and make any comments or suggestions on the site.
For example:
Are the chip pictures to big/small?
Does the site look fine in your browser?
Any other comments are appreciated.
Thanks. All Things Poker Chips

Chips: 53 | | Very nice. Works fine so far in Firefox, but you did put a "/" instead of a "." in the Casino Royal chip description. You misspelled favorite in a few of the descriptions as well, but otherwise great work. I envy your collection |

I will fix it up. Lot of code I am sure I screwed some things up.

If possible, you might consider all of the chips just appearing on the collection page, instead of clickclickclickclick to see all the pictures. |

Chips: 1,555 | | | Great work X! I love how you set up the click and view in the same screen. That works better than my chip site where you click and have a pop-up.
As for image size - I think its a good size. Anything bigger would be too magnified and would start to look pixelated. As a fellow collector, I like to present images that are close enough to show detail but not too close that you would start to see every single bump and groove.
At first impression, I thought some of the text was a bit dark for the background you chose, but as I looked through the site a bit more I felt that it worked well enough for the effect you were going for.
I first tried opening your site with a small sized window and had to do a bit of scrolling side to side to see the majority. You may want to consider narrowing the left menu column a bit but otherwise it works well.
Great work. You've got several chips that I haven't gotten yet. I'll have to get my arse out to Vegas by next year and catch up on the latest issues. |

One thing I noticed is slow initial page load times. Are you pre-loading every image on each page? Maybe you have to do this for your scripts to work? The Image size/quality looks good.
Atlantic City: Borgata spelled wrong
Maybe add a little something to the home page - a collage of chips or something perhaps? It's seems a little too plain to me. |

I guess I could add some chips to the front page.
I am loading all of the images. I am going to switch to gif files to make them a little smaller. I was also looking for a way to not pre-load them automatically.

Chips: 2,147 | | | Nice Website and chips X!
I like the Xfiles theme, but were are the Xfiles links?
Anyways, the only thing is the webpage looked a little wide on my 19" monitor, but you can always scroll. Otherwise images looked fine.
Btw, in your sample section, the Murphy's Card Room chip is Mfg by Matsui.
Nice job.
