25¢ chips?

Do casinos use 25¢ chips at all these days? It would be neat to get a bunch to use for cash games, but it doesn't seem like a common thing. Actually, I don't remember seeing any on eBay at all.

Having been through some searching... it appears that there are very few (if any) places still using decent chips for 25¢ or 50¢. I have a few samples, but all the places I've been to lately either quit using them or the pit bosses guard them like crazy.

There have been some 50¢ chips on eBay from time to time, but they end up costing more than face value if they're Paulsons.

Here's a pic of Josh's $.25 Binion's chip:

It's available here:
http://www.apachepokerchips.com/realcasinochips.html
Now, $1.75 each for the pleasure of a true casino quarter (Binion's to boot) is rather extreme... but think about it. How else could you get So Damn PIMP?
I chose another path, of course. I had Jason the label man make up a cool $.25 sticker which matches my Discovery Cruises ring game set.

If I had to do it all over again, I might have ASM hot stamp a nice chocolate chip for me, although I have been thinking about having 5-Star hotstamp some Nexgens for me.

That is a little expensive, but it would go well with other real chips for $1 and $5.

Even though this one is white, I really like it (mentioned over here):

Other than that, I'd really like to get either of these (although could get a bit expensive for some $5 chips, not sure how many I'd want to get for a 25c/50c game with 8 players):

These are also nice looking:

A hotstamped ASM for a 25¢ chip sounds like a decent alternative, though. Much cheaper.

There are 600 .25 chips from a casino that are Paulsons on an ebay auction right now for $500 buy-it-now. Even if you don't buy them, they look to be recent chips that may still be available at the casino.

Ooo, those are nice. Too bad I just spent money on ASMs I wonder what the $1 and $5 chips are like from that casino? Hopefully I'll be able to find something like that when I do have the money to spend on them...
