El Dorado Club chips
Does anyone know anything about the El Dorado Club? I have 100 paulson chips from there, but know nothing about it. I am assuming that it is the Reno Casino, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I am considering selling these off, but don't know how much I should expect to get for them. They are in Circulated condition. If anyone knows anything about the chips and/or the history of the El Dorado Club, I'd like to learn more. Once I figure out how to use image shack, I will try to put up a picture.
Thanks.

I got some chips at the Eldorado in Reno a couple of months ago, but they're Bud Jones chips and they say "Eldora Resorts LLC" and "Reno, NV" on them. I think there may be other Eldorado Clubs elsewhere.

Re: El Dorado Club chips
The El Dorado in Reno originally opened as the El Dorado Club in the early 70's, but was renamed to the El Dorado Hotel and Casino. Those chips are on the Large Greek Key mold from the Wills company of Reno (probably manufactured by the Burt Company). They would not be Paul-Son chips. There should be no need to assume, the chips should have "Reno, Nevada" on the chip along with the name of the casino. Putting up a picture should go a long ways in helping to indentify the correct origins of the chip.

Post a pic, if possible.
I think your chip is from Columbia, not the USA.
Blue with 3 yellow spots?

That's correct! Light blue, 3 yellow spots TH&C mold. I will post a pic of the ones I have within the next 2 days.
In the meantime, I did some fishing around on ebay and I found this ended auction. (If this is the price a single one can get, I may do well to sell them off one by one! I only paid $50 for all 100!)

As you can see the guy selling this one said it was a 70's casino in CA.

The guy in the eBay auction isn't fibbing. The Hustler does indeed stand where the El Dorado Club once stood, and that is most likely the chip that you have if it's like the one in the eBay link. The El Dorado was demolished and the Hustler was built in it's place.

Do you have a source that I can check to verify. So far all signs indicate that they are from Gardena CA, but I haven't found these in any of the online sources. SO all I have to go on is the info from the above ebay auction and PocketRocket's post. I have no reason to doubt them, but if there is a source that I can check to verify one way or the other that would be great.

Try a Google search using "Eldorado Club Gardena" as a search argument. That should give you a reasonable number of references. The other thing you might want to look for is history on the Hustler cardroom in Gardena.
