Does anyone out there happen to know whether the 50 cent riviera hot-stamped paulson chips are pink or hot pink? I ask because I have an oddball number of them (34) and see that there are currently auctions for starburst chips in both pink and hot pink. I'd like to pick up some of them as long as they will match the rivieras. I just need to know which ones to bid on. Thanks!
Well, I found Rudemood's post which states 25 cent but the picture on the link in his post link definitely shows a 50 cent, so maybe that was a misprint.
The eBay link and the ones shown at http://www.silver-state-treasures.co...gs/riviera.htm would seem to compare to the Hot Pink color in GPI's color chart for the Paulson chips (though GPI's color chart in their PDF is not all that great.)

I do think it is hot pink, and I tried to bid on the hot pink chips, however it appears I got sniped by a fellow chiptalker! Darn you Kalimba!!!!!

Sorry. It's not my intention to offend anyone by bidding on an auction as it nears closing. I'm really only offering what I'm willing to pay for the item -- just at the last possible minute.
You're going to be disappointed ot find out that you could have gotten one of those chips at face value by getting a blackjack with a $25 bet at the Rivera (don't know if they still have $5 tables).
