Chips: 111 | | | Did you know that many orientals will not stay or play at the Luxor too? There is something there that they consider bad luck. |

Some have UV reactive pigment color used in the composition- the $1K Paulson 'home' chip, or the $0.25 Murphy's 'coin-center' composite are a couple 'illuminative' examples. |

Chips: 10,807 | | | The newly issued Wynn chips all have the word "WYNN" repeated many, many times on the white inlays.

Chips: 1,555 | | | Before we get into a debate on ethnic backgrounds, I'd like this forum to focus on Casino and Collectible Chips specifically. Perhaps the General Forum would be a better place for side discussions.

Chips: 111 | | Hey, is Oriental a bad word now, aka Negro vs Africans? Is Asians the accepted term now. I am getting disoriented with new racial terms. The language police will get me one of this days for sure.
BTW. I am Oriental, so let me know so next time someone calls me Oriental, I can punch him in the face if term is a racial slur nowadays. |

Chips: 732 | | I always found this one interesting. Orient is a European term used to describe places/countries/people from "The East" definition
I always refer to peoples from this area and the area itself as Asians/Asia, but I couldn't tell you exactly why or why I consider Oriental to be more negative.
