Perhaps they're frequently rebuying from Paulson because their customers are walking out of the casino with the chips!

I would agree. The label design has been the same at the Ho for years now. You'd think that they would want to spruce up their image a bit.

But if people will visit their casino and play to harvest some of their Paulson's then why change.

Call me crazy, but I kinda like the inlay!

The ones I have are very slightly different (larger space between 50¢ and the 'casino' text - strange).

And 50¢ for brand new inlay Paulsons!? Can't beat that!

The Ho does have a new inlay for the chips. these 50cent pieces are not worth it i guess to put their new logo on there.

just wondering, would it be possilbe to put labels on these?

The Ho is their other casino with the entrance on Industrial.
With regards to the Westward Ho inlay, it's unusual to see an inlay at all on a fractional chip, a lot of places just hot stamp chips that are less than a dollar. And there was a time when casinos didn't even have dollar chips, they just used the $1 slot tokens, and before that Eisenhower dollars.

The center is recessed, but the inlay has a linen finish.

You won't be pulling these labels off too easily either.

J5 - 2 color print process can produce slightly different offsets.

Or they inexplicably changed the art in some subtle way.

Could be either one...
