you wouldn't pay $1 for those? i sure would have. notice that i didn't actually make any bids. i would, however, love to have those samples for my collection. those are the samples that are sent to casinos.

Unbelievable, simply unbelievable that anyone would pay that kind of money for a sample kit. I can only guess that this is why anything Paulson can command the ridiculous prices; because there are people willing to pay those prices.

yeah, seriously...i might pay around $50 for it, max, maybe, and that's a big maybe. i guess the $$$ is for the novelty of having this and adding it to your collection. maybe i'll pose as a colombian businessman with a hankering for opening up a casino and the financial backing to pay out the wazoo for paulson to mint some casino chips for me... maybe i can get those for free, and more..... heheheh... hmmmm....

People, especially those here, would probably be very surprised if they found out that the Paulson company that comprises GPI Gaming in Las Vegas is not a terribly big group. Probably about 25 people including the Atlantic City group (and not counting the factory in Mexico).

In Georgia it might be a problem, but in some states all you would have to do is to get the wheels in motion to open a cardroom (and in California it's not that much short of opening a full fledged casino in Nevada) and you can probably get both the Bud Jones and Paulson sales folks calling on you. Or if you're able to finance orders in 250,000 or larger quantities, you could probably swing a distributorship like Trademark (and get a decent mold from them while you're at it ).
