Re: Crystal Park or Crystal Meth

I've found that there are a good deal of chippers who are not as interested in extorting money as in sharing their enjoyment of chip collecting. I've met some cool people along the way as well, while picking up a chip here and two there, so it was worth it.

So as nice as it would be to score a rack of 3's or 25's or 100's, I guess i'll have to be patient and wait a bit....

So, I choose:

2. Be happy w/ what I have.

I've used the used chips a few times, which is a bank of a little over $1000. The uncirc. look so damn sweet sitting in the racks w/ their perfect edges that in the couple of games where I though we'd need a higher bank I've used the Desert Sands. I almost don't want to mix the new and the used, even though the used are still in really good shape.

And Wizard. I'll keep you informed if I come across anything that's not out of whack price wise.

no doubt.

Why don't you guys get a "group buy" going... set someone as trustee, everyone in the "group buy" has to pony up an equal share of $$. Each member gets the chips he/she needs at the buy price (removed from thier initial bank) THEN you go and drive the prices up by selling 20@$60 or whatever. As the money comes back in, each member gets repaid. Once everyone is repaid, the rest of the cash is consolidated in the trustees paypal account and split as profit among the members.

you're welcome, and i see you still only have that one $20 chip to photograph amazlingly i don't have a 500 or 1000 chip, but figure i should buy at least one of each to have on hand. did you see that lot of 42 - 1000's go for like $900+!

with the set you have, i say keep them and build it in a few years when prices come down. if you ever need the money you know you can sell them off and have $1200 to $2000 in about a week!

good idea on the group buy. i have wanted Crystal Parks since the day i started finding poker chip forums on the internet.

the most wanted chip for me is the $100. i want 20 of these but the ebayers are selling only in racks i think.

if at any time you guys want to sell some of your chips off, please let me know.

Actually, there are quite a few $100s up for sale. It just seems like you should get a rack for what you pay for 10.
