I don't know about Playmakers, i never watched it. I'm not a big
TV guy. I watched most of the TILT shows because i'm a poker fan.
There aren't many poker shows on TV, so to me any poker show is better than no poker show.

Sorry to get off course of the thread, but Clonexx you and I are on the same page with regard to HBO. Best television available, period to me. Interesting that you did not mention The Wire. Best of all of them IMO, including Soprano's.

Anyway, I am looking forward to getting my NJ Sands on Wednesday. Although your putting yours up for sale again has me just a WEE bit concerned.

You gotta be kidding me! There are nearly as many poker shows on TV as there are reality shows.

Let me list just a few off the top of my head:

WSOP
Tilt
US Poker Championships
Celebrity Poker Showdown
Championship Poker at the Plaza
Cheap Seats
E! Hollywood Home Game
Poker Royale: Battle of the Sexes
Poker Royale: WPPA Championships
Poker Superstars Invitational
The Ultimate Poker Challenge
WPT

Then theres the special "High Roller:The Stu Unger Story" on Starz, as well as the occasional poker content in Casino Diaries and Beyond the Glory.

I may have missed a few...

i agree, there's absolutely no shortage (any more) of poker to watch.

in fact, i'm to the point, just to the point, where i can not watch shows b/c they suck. in the old days, i'd watch everything b/c it's poker.

now, i don't mind missing the new superstars, ultimate challenge, and any poker royale or any celebrity show.

my favorites:

wpt: in spite of mike and vince
any espn: in spite of lon and norm
celebrity poker showdown: b/c phil gordon is good
fox sports stuff when lederer commentates.
tilt: b/c it's less mind-numbingly boring than tv poker can be. [/b]

I didn't say there wasn't much poker to watch. I said there wasn't many
poker shows. There are plenty of poker tournaments, but not many shows
with a poker story line. I don't ge STARZ, so i haven't had a chance to see the stu unger story. Is it a good show?

are these blue chips 10g ? i see the clamshell design on the mold so i assume they are typical blue chip 8.5 grams but then i heard someone mention they are true blue chips clays. if that is the case then why didnt they have the star mold?
