Someone else said they were in the "no f#$%ing shring bets , *****" scene. |

Chips: 129 | | | I can definitely see buying the chips based on the show. That’s why I would by them and would have, but missed the boat on the Colorado chips. I just suggested making labels based on someone that make the comment of wanting the Colorado chips because they lived in Colorado. That's another reason I wanted those particular one's as well. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, but now reside in GA. I hope ESPN decides to pick the show up for another season or another network decides to get it.

Chips: 2,521 | | | If a network like HBO could produce a poker/casino themed show, that might be something to see. Maybe it's just because I am a big fan of HBO and poker, but HBO just does things a little different....results in much more realistic TV IMO. To me, Tilt was about as good as Playmakers.
Tha's not to say that the chips are any less desirable or valuable. |

Tha's not to say that the chips are any less desirable or valuable. | Tilt was OK..it wasn't great, but I am all for anything that makes anyone more interested in poker.
As for HBO producing a poker chow like Tilt? I would absolutely be in heaven if they did. HBO has some of the best writers in the business. Deadwood, Sopranos and Oz are very good examples of this. Even Carnivale is a good show. If HBO were to produce a poker type show, I would be a happy man. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
