| | | The Chip Rack 10th Edition....few available.
In case anyone is interested, last week I contacted Allan Meyers via email inquiring about TCR 10th ed. Allan was very quick to respond, letting me know that there were a few copies left. I was able to purchase one from him, so I'm assuming there are a few left. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you his email. (I don't want to publically post it)

The updated 11th edition is supposed to be out this month or early next month. Do you think it is advisable to still buy the 10th?

I dont know if I am spilling the beans but its probably already public knowledge that the original authors (Knapp, Wheedon, Meyers) have sold the book and content to another group who will take up the gauntlet and produce the 11th edition.
The 4th edition of James C's book is a few months away as well. He announced it and started taking pre-orders at the convention. James' book covers more territory than TCR (which focuses only on Nevada) and usually includes a wealth of great pictures (although I dont know what the 4th edition will bring). |

Ross' info is open knowledge. Rights to the TCR were acquired by Greg Susong (TheChipBoard/ChipGuide), Jay Sands (CT'er: smooth7 and Vice President of the CC>CC) and Len Cipkins, CC>CC publicist.
I would look for both a hardcopy version and a web-based version. TCR 11 is due out before the next CC>CC Convention, which is still unscheduled.
The "Official" guide is due out this Fall.

It should be available from most of the major chip dealers and stores as well as from James himself.
