Paulson Fun Nite Question

So, I have a set of these and have not wanted to use them because they are in uncirculated/mint condition and they just look so nice that way!

However, I've recently been wanting to start playing with them and started to wonder if they are thought of as a collector chip? I have no clue what the going price is for them, but I know they are hard to come by, and was wondering if it is better that I keep them in mint condition rather than playing with them? I have the Green 25, Charcoal 100, Lilac 500, & Blaze Orange 1000.

Any thoughts?

Re: Paulson Fun Nite Question

Shelving chips is a pointless task if you ask me. Plenty of people using chips worth 2x-4x more than Fun Nites. You bought em...you should crack em.

There is no guarantee Fun Nites will be worth more than $2-$3 each in five years so savor the moment by playing in style now.

Re: Paulson Fun Nite Question

Smitty, I've seen pics of your awesome fun nites, and while they are truly awesome chips, you MUST use them.

I'm not sure, but I don't they are worth that much more than many of the Paulson's floating around, maybe $2 each?? I have no idea though.

I could see not using certain sets where the chips may be worth $10 each or something, but I would be using those bad boys.

Re: Paulson Fun Nite Question

This is the consensus I was hoping for!!! I really want to use them, but was not sure if they were something I should be holding on to...I'll keep some minty's on the side and start playing with these bad boys!

Ahhhhhh....so much happiness flowing in!

Re: Paulson Fun Nite Question

Okay, okay...here are some old pics I have...I think I've sold off 100 of the green since these were taken...otherwise, I believe this is what I have (need to take them out and stack them up again!).
