Hi guys, I just wanted to get some tips and ideas about special edition chips. Is it as simple as going up to the cage and asking if they have any special chips at the moment? Right now, my plan is to get a $1 chip from all the strip casinos, plus any interesting chips I see along the way. At most I'd get a $5 chip, I can't see myself spending more than that for a particular chip right now.

When in June are you going? You may be able to see more chips than you've ever seen in one place at one time. The CCGTCC National convention is set to kick off at June 18-21, Riviera, LV
Well that's good to know. Is there a site out there with compiled tournament dates for the major ones (WSOP, WPT, etc.)?
just ask at the cage and they'll let you know what they have. The palms has a bunch of different chips and they are all displayed on the wall at the main cage with availability of each chip under the display.
