Lots of PNY's on the market. Did I miss something???

There are just SO many of them out there, there are always some that are bound to show up for sale.

If you can't get the 1's, 5's, 25's, and 100's for right around $1 per, you just aren't looking hard enough. 500's are selling for around $3-4 per or cheaper normally (unless you are SuckoutKing), which is not to shabby.

Hod, was this someone who gave you an Lowball offer? Either that or he hasn't visited Ebay since 2003.

LOL. Nope, I haven't submitted lowball offers. I bought from the original seller (see my post above), for $1.00 per chip, and $3.50 for the 500's. That was all within the last 3-4 months. He was liquidating his stuff on ebay the end of last year, and I bought them cheap.

I'm sorry that I'm not helping push your chips for double what market value is. I'm actually surprised you don't mark these up 8x like the MGM quarters that you get just to turn a profit off of Chiptalkers.

Oh and MGM Quarters for $2 ea. let me know on those too. Was that supposed to be a jab?

I would if I was watching ebay, but I'm not right now. I'm not in the PNY market. If they come for sale though, the secondaries won't go higher than $5, I guarantee it (if sold in quantities of at least 20).

Just for the record, I think making a cut rate deal is a joke as well. I just think it is in poor taste to mark up the chips like you're selling furniture or something. If selling chips is your way of making a living then its one thing, but thats not the case with most people on this site.

I'll say again - If I don't like your prices, then I don't buy. Problem solved for me. But that doesn't mean I have to keep silent about how I feel.

SOK, not sure if you were meaning to ask me, as you quoted ontheuptick.

For the record it wasn't even a lowball offer per se, people would just PM and say they can buy the chips for X dollars from Y, so will I match the (lower) price? All very odd, I always just replied that they should buy them from the other guy, as that's a great price!

On a regular basis, very few people would sell their PNYers for $1 per chip. That said, when they need that money urgently for their next purchase, that's when the price drop drastically.
