If you don't like someone's prices, simply don't buy. That's the best form of protest. Most chippers aren't going to pay more than what a chip is worth to them because they know there will be more that come along eventually.
I'm a buyer that would probably buy every one of SuckOutKings $500s if they were at the right price. Now, just because they're not at the right price for me doesn't mean they're not at the right price for you. Everyone's threshold is different and also encompasses many different factors: How badly you want them, what your current disposable income is, how you will justify the purchase to your wife/girlfriend, etc. I think I paid $3.50 per $500 secondary and I don't plan on paying more than $3.75/per ever. Will I ever get more at those prices? I hope so. If I don't? Oh well. |

$1000 PNY Primaries for $25+/per? Hilarious! I laugh every time I see it!
Okay that's all I got. |

Now from a sellers point of view. I really like this set. It is my only Tournament set and I am in NO hurry at all to part with it. And the prices I have listed in my Ad are what I am comfortable with selling them for. If I find buyers great, if I don't just means I get to keep them. Win - Win situation for me. |

Last I saw you had posted pics of 5000+ Are they multiplying while you aren't looking? You and miandsh2000 could re-open the casino these chips were intended for by yourselves! Quote:

Will I ever get the $300 per rack I paid for them? Paobably not. But for me (at the time at least) I was willing to pay that to get 2 racks of mint casino quarters. I used them last week and made $300 in ONE NIGHT playing with my MINT casino Paulsons! Now they have at least partially paid for themselves!
At least that's one way of looking at it, lol!

Chips: 2,457 | | | Re: Lots of PNY's on the market. Did I miss something??? I had 3000+ at one time. I was intending on using them for the long term. One set for cash and the other for tournaments. The reasons why they never went into play are obvious. So, now I have a small set I keep for old time sake. Heck, I have 40 2.50s sitting in the chip case and they will probably never be used. They are pretty to look at though.
I still love getting messages about how the chips are being sold for less elsewhere. They never really seem to have a good answer for when I ask them why they just didn't purchase them from the other guy.
I think lowball offers will always be made on any chip set Think about it this way, what does a low baller have to lose on the deal? If you say no, they move on. If you say yes, then they get what they want. It's like the old joke about a guy who asks every women he meets if she will sleep with him. He says, "99 of out 100 times I get my face slapped, but that 100th time is worth it".

Here are few threads to read up on BCC: BCC NCV chips | How BCC takes care of a bad order | Warped BCC chips
Ask BCC: Why does it take 6-8 months when you promised 4-5 weeks? How come you didn't look at the chips before you sent them out? Why does it take 6+ months for BCC to make good on a bad order after waiting 6-8 months in the first place? |

Why should I sell my chips to a chiptalker for some sort of cut rate deal? Did any of you who consider buying a chip think about the cost of carrying these things, buying them is mass quantity with hopes for a small resell profit? I have thousands of dollars invested in multiple chip collections and bought enough to repackage into playable sets. Then the market crashed. Yes, I've sold just a few small sets of my Palmas to chiptalkers for far less than I paid for them, but I'm not about to do that to often if ever again.
I have yet to see a primary $500 go for less than $8 each after arconeltd sold out. I have yet to see a primary $1000 go for less than $25-30 per chip.
And I will never sell my PNY's for a buck a chip when ASM charges $1.45 per chip. That would just not be right to sell a PNY for $1 per chip. So when I see them at that price, I too will buy more just like I did last week. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
