Chips: 261 | | | Going To Laughlin I am going to laughlin on thursday and going to start my collections of casino chips. Having never been to laughlin and never collected chips, I am going to look for $1 chips, going to play some poker and maybe some fractionals.
So My question is, What are the main casinos that I should go to, The web is really bad when it comes to lauglin. What chips should I look for? I would even get a few $5 if there are some nice ones like the new years ones.
thanks
Opps, Forgot to add any one need chips?

Chips: 2,094 | | | Re: Going To Laughlin The Jokers Wild! They have old-school paulson chips with shaped inlays. To top it off, they had $3 2-deck blackjack with reasonable rules. I love to be able to pick up the cards and scratch for your hit, as it keeps the dealer from playing your hand for you. I stopped there on the way to the Ritz 6 months ago. You can tear up a game like that late at night by playing several spots at once and ranging your bets from minimum to much higher. |

Extraholes, I was in Laughlin a year ago and picked up $1 chips from most of the casinos on the river. I told the cashiers that I wanted a few nice souvenir chips. None had uncirculated chips, but all of them were very willing to look for chips in good condition. I got three from each casino that I visited: one for my collection and two to use as traders. The guy at the Edgewater even put them in Air-tites for me.
I played poker at Colorado Belle, Aquarius, and Riverside. Colorado Belle had the only Omaha 8/b game; it was juicy when I was there. I also played $3-6 HE at Aquarius and something like $2-6 spread limit HE at Edgewater. I didn't play any tournaments.
Have a great time! |

Chips: 10,807 | | | Re: Going To Laughlin With the exception Harrah's, it is fairly simple to walk to all of the Laughlin casinos. With the exception of the former Ramada Express (now Tropicana Laughlin, I believe) all the casinos are on the river (Colorado River), in this order, North to Soth...
Riverside, Aquarius (former Flamingo), Edgewater, Colorado Belle, Pioneer, Golden Nugget, River Palms (former Sam's Town) and Harrah's (up a big hill!). The Tropicana is situated across the street from the Colorado Belle.
Tropicana has the newest chips, then Aquarius and then it does not matter.
Have fun!

I'd be interested in a couple of $1 chips from Tropicana Express and fractionals, drop chips ($2, $3 or $4) and snappers from anywhere you might be able to pick up extras.
I can also Paypal you money in advance. Lemme know (preferably via email if you want pre-payment) at ejwejroch [at] gmail [dot] com
