I have just learned (from TheChipBoard) that ChipTalk member David Kolenda (I Run 8's) passed away this morning. Many of us were aware of his overall medical condition (cancer, I believe) and that there was a liklihood of this event.

Regretably, it has come to pass. I will miss his posts here and the fact that he was a willing participant in wanting to share information about chip collecting, as well a displaying some of his collection.

Rest In Peace David...

OMG, this is so sad. He was just playing in the tourney Monday night. Dave will be missed. My sympathies to his family. I'm just shocked and very sad right now.

i knew david was sick but didn't know he was that far along. i'm very saddened to hear it. he and i had a great rivalry having been headup in tournaments many times.
