Chips: 151 | | | Casino WIndsor/CEASARS? I've been reading recently about the impending addition of the Ceasars brand to the Casino Windsor Complex. I'm hoping some of the people in the Michigan and Windsor have some info in this regard. Specifically I want to know when will the changeover occur (the website is pretty vague). What I'm really concerned with is will the Casino issue new chips (my guess). Also will they keep the old chips in play or destroy them. The current $1 chip is one of my favourites(Canadian spelling) . My goal is to make the trip close to the opening and scoop a few mint racks of $1 chips (and grab some for any interested Chiptalk member of course) right after they come out. Also if anyone is in the area and knows what the daily buyin tourney schedule is (what's the Tuesday buy in and the sign in process) please let me know. Your thoughts would be appreciated. |

That ought to be nice, though, Caesars brand does it up pretty well. As far as chips are concerned, it's probably safe to speculate and say they will have new ones with the Caesars name on them. They aren't just incorporating the Caesars theme into Casino Windsor, it's more like Casino Windsor is being absorbed by Caesars (Harrahs). I guess it depends on Canada's gaming commissions or governing bodies as to what happens to the existing Windsor chips. I've never heard anyone talk about what happens to theirs up there when a casino closes or is acquired.
Personally, I can't wait to see the place. It sounds like it's going to be really cool. |

And the introduction of the Total Rewards card is slated for Spring 2007 (according to Casino Windsor website) |

I stole this link from Midnight Rose's reply in another thread: http://img452.imageshack.us/my.php?i...fullsetlz1.jpg
I hope that works.
As for the new chips........I have no idea except for the general Roman theme in all Ceasars chips. From the sounds of things it could be months before we see any new chips. I'm not sure. Anyone reading this is free to let us know when they spy the new chips. I don't live close enough to the Casino to check very often. |

From what I've gathered, this is the first Caesars outside the U.S. since their merger with Harrah's Entertainment. So the first one for Harrah's Entertainment, not for Caesars. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
