I know that you said tournament style, but the truth of it is that Bud Jones chips are ONLY going to be available from some obsolete real casino. This is a big part of why they are hard to find and also why they command a relatively high price. One issue that you will notice about chips from a Casino is that it is often hard to find the higher denoms that are necessary for a tourney.

Is $599 for this set reasonable, in other words am I getting ripped off if I buy these?!
Any other sites that sell BJ chips with higher denoms (100, 500, 1000 etc)?
"Collectability" is not that important to me, it's the BJ design and feel I'm after, so if newer BJ are cheaper, I'm interested!

Yes, they're good chips, very good in fact. Yes, it's a reasonable price. No, you're not getting ripped off.
