Chips: 840 | | | The Wynn Rack - pic Played a tournament at the Wynn earlier this month and chopped it when it got 3-handed. My wife snapped this pic while we were having dinner after the game, so I thought I'd share it. It's odd - almost like they go out of their way to give you all the denoms in the payout (could easily have been more $5's instead of the $20 chip).
I really like the look of the Wynn chips - classy and simple. Almost all of them have simple one-color edgespots, and the inlays are all monochrome as well. It was hard to turn these in to the cage (well, ok not really).
Enjoy . . .

Can I ask how big the field was and what the buy-in was? |

I am glad to see gwilkx finished in good money, but I am not about to ask how much he cashed out because it is none of my business; however, any time you take more money away from the table then what you took to the table it is a reason for jubiliation.

I was actually surprised this was the norm in several vegas poker rooms...paying out in house cheques...my local casinos in Alberta (Canada) simply hand out envelopes with hand written totals on the outside and wads of bills! Quote: |

I was not trying to figure out the amount, if anything, I was hoping those were the chips he had when they chopped and his payout was going to be even more. Oh well, still a great haul.

There are very few things in Vegas that don't happen for a very specific reason... |

In some places, if they pay you in chips then there is no W2G to worry about. If they pay you in cash from the cage and its over $600 then there is a tax ramification. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
