Hey Jamby! Now that you have your Dunes chips...

Have you considered what's next?!!!!!!!!!!

Real decks of cards, of course!!!!

These decks are kind of cool (but not available) as they are un-opened. This means they are not cancelled!!!!

Chips are only the beginning, enjoy the ride!

Now that would be fun...to have some Dunes cards to go with my Dunes chips.

I think we found the other 1% of 99%....

Jim, I think you need to change your name to Jim (The Tempter) Follis: "always finding something else you HAVE to have"!!

(Thank god I don't have the spare cash to do more than look at the chip-porn you share with us...)

Jim is a regular pusher.."Don't worry, the first one is free". Still I am glad he is here.

Nice Jim, very nice. Another slippery slope you've introduced me too.
You're the CT pusher alright. Those are very cool cards though. Are they yours? Feel like a trade???

Sorry, can't trade what I only have one of! This is what you made me do to find them! (But I wouldn't look, if I were you!) Can you tell me what all the decks are sitting on?

Why yes they are!

And they have a tie to the Dunes Golf Course chips.....

As has been noted here before, the Dunes received the Golf Course chips just before they closed, so the Golf Course issue is known as the Dunes' last issue chips. Well the two uncut sheets (one red and one black) are also the Dunes' last issue cards!

Now what is really interesting, as seen in the scan below, the Ace of Spades shows this to be an Aristocrat deck, which is a division of the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC) which has another division called Bicycle, hence the Bicycle logo card, which is blank on the reverse. ( The arrows line up the fronts and backs of the three cards noted in this composite scan.)

So, where did I get these uncut sheets? From the Gamblers General Store (GGS) which is now owned by USPCC, but I bought them several years ago. Evidently, the Dunes last issue cards were supplied by GGS, as printed by USPCC and some sheets went undelivered. If I recall correctly, these were bundled in stacks of several hundred sheets and sold for around $5 per sheet. They are long gone and I wish I had more!

Jim, I am salivating over your cornucopia of cards. Another fine slippery slope for me to slide down.
